Initially, Webnet began as Bodine Electronics, a computer development company founded by Marcus Bodine. Once the company made its fortune, it changed its name to Comcast, which in turn became Webnet once Dr. Augustus Silkowski had Fitzhugh assassinate Bodine and became its sole owner.
